>> Read owner's manual prior to installation.

>> Use a swing check valve (rubber-flapper type) on the return pipe as close to the pump as practical to prevent elevated water from back flowing through the pump causing the motor to reverse its proper rotation.

>> DO NOT USE spring loaded swing check valves because they can reduce water flow to the pump.

>> Avoid hitting the strainer basket on hard objects to loosen debris from the basket. A bottle brush is very effect to dislodge debris.
